DEFAMATION COURT PROCEEDINGS

Bullying – Cyber-Bullying – Defamation – Harassment – Intimidation : 6th November 2012 – Ongoing

Duta May Bouquet-Brown is the plaintiff, in ongoing defamation proceedings before the Penang High Court,

seeking to clear her name and obtain justice for the wrongful acts committed against her over the past thirteen ( 13 ) years pursuant to the protection afforded under the Malaysian Defamation Act 1957.

For 13 prolonged, unbroken years, Duta May Bouquet-Brown has endured profound suffering from bullying, cyber-bullying, harassment, defamation and intimidation – all carried out with malicious intent to discredit, and destroy her reputation, and to prevent her from continuing her non-profit humanitarian, and charitable goodwill endeavours for communities across Malaysia, and South East Asia – on her birth soil of Penang Island, Malaysia.

She has suffered largely in silence, even as she continued to devote herself to not-for-profit charitable, goodwill and humanitarian service throughout Malaysia, freely volunteering her skills for the State Of Penang, across multiple states, and extending through to South East Asia in support of humanitarian relief, and disaster response assistance.

Throughout this period and despite continuous hostility, she has steadfastly committed herself to helping the poorest of the poor in Malaysia, and dedicating her life to the legacy mission in the name of humanity – an extraordinary milestone now nearing 15 years of uninterrupted, non-profit, humanitarian, and charitable service – giving back unconditionally to the very community that saved her when she was a one-hour-old orphaned infant on the streets of George Town, Penang Island, Malaysia.
