Intervention At Pak Mie Shelter
Wings Of Goodwill intervened at Pak Mie Shelter in Alor Setar, Kedah : – to gently guide with grace and give hands-on help on the ground – to help change the mindset from old school thinking to today's animal welfare standards and practices – to provide support, dignity and humane care for the rescued animals.
Duta May Bouquet-Brown, the founder of Wings Of Goodwill and Malaysian One Health – Veterinary Alliance, is recognised as the first non Malaysian in Malaysia's long history ever to convene a comprehensive multi-agency response, and secure cooperation, and alignment bringing together between the – State City Council – State Government Agencies – Federal Government Departments – while working hands-on on the ground, in support of an unregistered animal shelter in Alor Setar, Kedah.
She independently led a successful mediation at Pak Mie Shelter in Alor Setar, Kedah and achieved a humane, and workable outcome between an unregistered animal rescue shelter, and the following local authorities in order : –
